Every project is a set of tools. Our aim is to give you all the tools you need to get any job done. Each tool perfoms a different job and has it's own page.
To add a tool to a project simply click the "+ Add a Tool" button when you're on a project dashboard:
When you do this you'll see the tools popup show. This is how you select tools to add. Simply click one of the tools and it will either be added stright away or ask for more details before the tool is added.
Project tools are split into 2 categories:
Core tools
These are tools that we have built into Project.co. They are native tools. This includes the following:
Discussion - A way to chat with everyone who is part of your project.
Tasks - Keep track of everything that needs to be done on a project.
Files - Add all the important documents to each project.
Note - Track notes in our powerful editor.
Time - Record time so you know how long has been spent on each project/task.
Payments - Request payment as projects progress.
Reference - Link to any other item within your account.
Resources - A list of all your links & embeds.
3rd Party tools
These tools external to Project.co. We understand that you will use many other software tools alongside Project.co. So, we want to make it easy to include these tools within your projects so everything is accessable in one place. We give you 3 ways to do this:
Link - Link to another web page. This will open in a new tab when clicked.
Embed URL - Embed anything by simply pasting a URL.
Embed Code - Embed anything with an embed code.
Note on embed limitations: We can only currently embed web pages that allow themselves to be embedded within iframes. See more about this here. And we don't accept embed codes withn <script> tags. But, we do plan to add support for embed codes with <script> tags in 2023.
