How to embed tools in projects

This article explains how to add tools such as Airtable, Figma, Frame.io, Vimeo, YouTube, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, review tools & more.

Updated over a week ago

It's useful to add the other tools you use to your projects in Project.co so everyone you work with on projects can access all the information from inside the project.

To add other tools go to the +"+ Add a Tool" button and choose "Single Embed".

You'll then see a pop up asking you to choose the embed type. You have many different tools to choose from including:

  • Airtable

  • Figma

  • Frame.io

  • Google Doc, Sheet, Slide

  • Invision

  • Loom

  • Miro

  • Vimeo

  • Wistia

  • YouTube

  • Ziflow

When you have chosen which tool you want to embed you'll see 2 more fields display below.

Firstly, name your embed. This adds the name to the card on your project dashboard so it's clear to other people who view the project what the tool is.

Then, enter the URL or sharing URL of the tool you want to embed to the URL input.

When you have completed the URL field you'll see a "Show Preview" button appears.

This lets you see a preview of the tool so you can make sure it's worked correctly and adjust the URL if not.

The tool will then show as a card on the project dashboard.

And when clicked the contents of the tool will be embedded directly inside the project. This means the project team don't need to leave the project to view any 3rd party associated information.
